A word from our Residents
Welcome to Colonial Village
We are a senior living community in Overland Park, KS (just south of Kansas City), and we offer five levels of living: independent living, assisted living, memory care, short-term rehab, and long-term care.
We don’t like to think of ourselves as a typical senior living community or a nursing home — we’re a family. Every resident is treated with care and served with a smile every day.
We understand how important dining is, and we aim to provide our residents delicious food as well as an inviting environment that residents can spend time with their friends sipping coffee or enjoying dessert.
Our residents enjoy participating in cards games, bingo, chair exercise, church services, movie nights, book clubs, or arts/crafts. We offer activities off-site to the grocery store, dinner outings, concerts/plays, museums, botanical gardens and other fun seasonal outings!
Our spacious apartments were built with seniors in mind! The apartment features may differ on your level of living choice, but they are all built to maximize your independence.
About our Levels of Care
Independent Living
Independent Living Apartments feature expansive, light-filled floor plans with full kitchens, washer/dryer, and modern conveniences.
Assisted Living
Assisted Living apartments offers a higher level of service and support for residents who need help with some activities of daily living.
Short-Term Rehab
Why rehab with us? Everything revolves around the resident and their personal well-being. We have private rooms, private suites, and enhanced semi-private rooms. We have a calm relaxing environment in which to rehab. And more!
Long-Term Care
We have a comprehensive approach to short-term rehabilitation and long-term healthcare. After a full assessment by our nursing team, we will customize a care plan to preserve every resident’s dignity and respect their wishes while offering medical care.
Memory Care
Maggie’s Place at Colonial Village is a memory care community unlike any other. Located next door to Colonial Village retirement community in Overland Park, Kansas, Maggie’s Place is designed specifically for those who desire the latest and best in memory support living.
